Using a startup approach to mobile learning design
The talk starts with introducing WeChat as a lifestyle mobile app, and the challenges of using it as an educational tool. It goes on to articulate the pedagogy of Connect Academy: Community of Practice for career exploration (learning as being, belonging, experiencing and doing; combination of alignment, imagination and engagement). The final part explains its start-up approach to learning design: solve a real problem, MVP and learning as primary indicator for each experiment.
